Overview: For your consideration is this very nice 1960s Eterna Matic 1000. The watch features a steel case, measuring 35mm in diameter without the crown. It features a silver textured dial with a date window on the right side. The dial is a mildly patinated but has some kind of novice restoration in between 8,9 & 10. One must say that this looks way more severe on the macros than on the wrist. Other than that, clean original dial. The watch houses the automatic movement Eterna 1489K that is pivoted on 17 Jewels. It winds well & runs very good. This is a movement that can also be wound by hand & features a quick set date function which is quite handy. The case shows signs of age like scratches & dents but is overall in well preserved condition. The crown is original. Overall a really nice & well running Swiss classic. Condition: Condition Case: 7/10 The case has signs of age like scratches & dents but seems to be unpolished. Condition Dial: 4/10 The dial is only mildly patinated but has been patched by an amateur on the right left hand side. Condition Movement: 7/10 Movement runs immediately but is unserviced. Condition Case: 5/10 The watch is in usable condition but has strong flaking on the lugs & on the back. The caseback is well kept. The lugs are completely intact.
