Dark blue indigo maxi skirt made through upcycling, with a semi-sheer lower part. Handmade from almost new G-Star denim shorts. One of a kind. This skirt is made from dense cotton denim with a soft, silky surface. Originally, it was a pair of almost new denim shorts high-quality material, no elastane, structured yet flexible. The color is a deep dark blue indigo. The upper part keeps the denim base, while the skirt flows into a light, semi-sheer tulle layer below. Thanks to the extended denim part, it can be worn without a petticoat comfortable & easy, with no unwanted transparency. The skirt feels both grounded & airy: structured denim gives it shape, while the transparent lower part adds movement & lightness. I made this following a zero-waste approach where every scrap of fabric is used. It is a practical & beautiful piece with strong Prym buttons & careful finishing. I am a tailor & I love working with textiles. For this jacket, I combined quality denim with colorful handwoven fabric. Since it has no lining, I finished the seams with cotton & wool tapes. This keeps the inside clean & comfortable, & the tapes on the outside add a simple, decorative touch. I used original metal Prym buttons because they are reliable & stay strong for a long time. This jacket is about honest handmade work & a second life for beautiful materials. It exists in only one copy. Care instructions: Please wash this jacket only on a gentle wool cycle, as it contains wool trim. Iron it only from the inside & use a medium temperature (not too hot) to protect the wool & the delicate textures. Shipping: I ship worldwide. One-of-a-kind upcycled Levi's denim skirt with vintage silk patchwork insert. Carefully constructed from reclaimed materials & designed for durability. The base is vintage Levi's denim with a small amount of elastane. The fabric is medium weight, dense & structured. It feels strong & supportive, with only a subtle, resilient stretch that returns to shape. It is not thin & not overly elastic. The patchwork insert is created from vintage silk remnants from my studio. The silk panel is reinforced, backed with a vintage hand-painted silk scarf & quilted for stability. The stitching runs across the panel at regular intervals, securing the layers together & preventing movement or distortion. This quilting gives the insert structure & weight comparable to the denim body. After construction, the entire skirt was machine-washed on a delicate cycle to test durability, structure & color stability. The silk did not bleed, shrink or distort. The quilted panel remained stable & intact. The skirt keeps its shape beautifully & does not require ironing after washing. If desired, it can be lightly pressed with a warm iron from the inside. Visible stitching & raw edges are intentional part of the handcrafted aesthetic. This piece is one of a kind. I work with vintage materials, so no two skirts will ever be identical. Fabrics, composition & details will always vary. Size M Waist 82 cm / 32.3 in Hips 98 cm / 38.6 in Length back 98 cm / 38.6 in Side length approx. 93 cm / 36.6 in Front slightly shorter with a subtle asymmetric hem. Care: gentle machine wash (delicate or hand-wash cycle, cold). Air dry. Warm iron from the inside if needed. Please note: the belt shown in photos is not included.
