I assume based on the shape that it was previously offered as a women's model. Of course, it can be worn regardless of gender, because it also has a long bracelet with many holes. So it covers thinner & also stronger arm circumferences. Naturally in perfect working condition! For collectors - or your wrist. RARE SIGNED AR PENCK WATCH NOS Postmodern artist watch from EDITION STAECK by German Artist A.R. PENCK. The watch is from the 1980s & was limited to 10,000 pieces. This is especially rare because it was signed by A.R. Penck personally. (The normal edition had a printed signature on the black bracelet. The signature on the yellow bracelet is the original autograph of Penck.) There exist only less signed models from this edition. The watch is made by Junghans Germany. It is NOS, new, never used & in perfect condition. Works fine. It comes in original box with manual by Edition Staeck. It has very abstract hands, the hour hand is a lobster afterimage, the hour hand a dash-like male & a wavy green second hand. in excellent condition! For collectors - or your wrist. About Edition Staeck: Since the 1960s, Edition Staeck has represented internationally renowned artists whose works always take a stance in a socio-political context. Among them are Joseph Beuys, A. R. Penk, Sigmar Polke, Neo Rauch, Keith Haring & much more. About A.R. Penck: He was born 1939 in Dresden/Germany; died 2017 in Zurich/Switzerland, & is actually called Ralf Winkler. Penck is a renowned German & internationally active artist, who was very well known for his critical positions. He was very diverse artistic activity, has received many awards & hangs among others in the MOMA New York.
