This ring features a 12mm // 1/2 inch wide ringband that is very comfortable to wear due to its width & straight form. Weighing in at 12, 5 grams it is neither to heavy nor too light. You will know it's there but won't bother. The original Scroldesign has been handengraved in about 30 to 40 hours. The ringhead resembling a shieldform will be personalized to the buyers wishes. This includes initials as well as Logos or comparable modifications to make it YOURS. This service is included in the price & will be discussed & designed after purchase. Only US Size 9 & above will feature the complete scrollwork. Smaller sizes will be adapted to 2/3 of the design. The small claw on the top about halfway around the ring serves as a delimiter where smaller size versions will be without scroll but will therefore give a bit more space for further customization. The Unholy Vortex ring is completely handmade from Sterling Silver & features hand carved & engraved quality all around. The warped sheetmetal base is mirrorpolished to reflect the backside of the ringhead that seems to float ontop of the ring. Revealing the sight of the handengraved pentagram & pointed arch - gothic style design which is oxidized black for higher contrast. On the front the style is continued with a three dimensional skull & relief carved & engraved pointed arches. The back of the ringhead is also visible from the sides & shines with straight & exact lines. The ring in the pictures is a size 8 US which is an average size for women. Larger sizes will have a wider appearance while the ringhead is the same size of 1.2 x 0.6 inches. Very comfortable to wear also if you choose to wear one size bigger to acomodated for normal day to day finger swelling. This also means that the ring can be worn on the ringfinger as well as the middlefinger when choosing the right size. This feature is contributed by the long warped inner tube design that spreads grip evenly without being too tight. The winged skullring started out as a custom job & thanks to Marco this amazing piece is now available to the public. All of the carving was originally done in Sterling Silver instead of a wax carving to be able to achieve the highest level of detail possible. Utilizing a 40x microscope & lots of time to bring out all the small details needed to make it look perfect from every angle. Though you might think that the horns could potentially become a comfort problem when wearing this little eyecatcher, I took special care & designed the horns to never touch the skin when wearing it on your finger. The horns are not too pointy, so handling & touching the ring is never a risk of injury. Plus the horns are sturdy enough to endure normal wear & tear. The inside of the ring is rounded on the edges & mirrorpolished for maximum comfort. Two main finishes are available: - All black oxidized, still very durable but will fade after some time of wearing, revealing YOUR individual pattern of wear. The inside of the ring is mirror-polished. - Partial black oxidation, High contrast between flat silver & black oxidized depths.The inside of the ring is mirror-polished. Goldversions are possible & should not break the bank in this case due to the smaller size & weight of the ring. The Herakles Ring is one heavy chunk of sterling silver on one hand depicting delicately carved details of Herakles' body & face & on the other hand displayin rough & deep structures on the ringband as a purposefully utilization of further contrast. The wide & thick ringband keeps the ring pretty stable on the finger & does not feel top heavy, therefore there'll be no sideways roll which is also supported to the rough but satin sanded inside for more grip on the skin. As shown the ring comes in am overall oxidized & satin sanded finish to bring out every detail including Herakles' left ear & Serratus Anterior.
