PURPLE CROPTOP This crop top has a one-sleeve design & ties at the back. It is plant-deyed using the bundle dye technique. As dye material we use logwood from Mexico to achieve this vibrant purple color. The Top can be tied at the back & is therefore adjustable in size & fits perfectly to your body. INSTRUCTIONS + Do only wash by hand + Do only wash with cold water + Do only wash with no or a bit of natural soap NATURAL DYE All our garments are naturally dyed by botanical elements such as flowers, leaves, barks or seeds or kitchen waste such as onion skin, turmeric peels or avocado peels & pits. The color palette of our textiles reflects the cycle of flowers, bushes, trees & food under the influence of the seasons of our latitude. We dye in spring with the first delicate green & the first little flowers, in summer with bright colors of the berries, in autumn with muted & earthy colors of the leaves & shells of the vegetables from the ground & in winter with dark seeds & fruits falling down the trees . The resulting color of each individual dye material is enormously complex & can never be reproduced. Our individual pieces are all characterised by the uniqueness, unrepeatability & perfection of nature. HANDMADE in BERLIN,NEUKÖLLN All our garments are handmade by us in our Atelier in Berlin, Neukölln. We work on demand, which means we always start the production with your order. All our garments are unique pieces! LINEN We choose linen fabric because its sensible to our skin & over all the other materials it's production is environmentally friendly. The flax plants are very resilient, can grow in poor soil, & require very little water. What's more, every single part of the flax plants is then used in making all types of products, from linen clothing to varnishes. Linen fabric is also recyclable & biodegradable, meaning you won't be adding to the growing piles of textile waste all over the world. Our linen hand-dyed garments embracing our skin in a soft & light way, allowing it to breathe calmly & continuously. Our purely plant-dyed garments not only exclude the effects of toxins from conventionally synthetically dyed clothing on our skin, but rather strengthen our health & well-being through the power & magic of plants. At KÊMI Atelier we want to contribute to a better future for our planet & we want to inspire people to rethink our relationship with nature.
