Vintage Book Charms/Pendants - For Booklovers

Pendants/Charms for booklovers, bibliophiles, vintage enthusiasts & all those who love the textures & patterns of old texts, words & paper. The pendants are made from old book pages, transfered on glas cabochons, in a simple/non-distracting lunette. By adding litle amounts of glitter, color & some secret technique (vintage jewelery needs secrets...), the pendants get a more dreamy, antique appearance. The words of the old book pages are sometimes a little bit obscured & some parts are clearly visible. The books from which this badge is made are from the 1920's-30's & stem from the Universal Bibliothek Collection of Reclam Publishing House, Leipzig (Germany) & are all in German. Condition: lunettes & cabochons are completely new, the book pages were in varying antique condition & vary in color from brighter to darker cream/beige. All books/book pages I use are free from mold or similar stains & damages. Please check out the photos, items are sold as it is. All pendants look slightly different, due to different cut-outs & distribution of glitter & color. The lunettes are made of costume jewellery metals with a thin silver plating.
