The Dancing Fairy Pendant

This pendant dates back to the 1920s & is crafted in sterling silver, set with delicate marcasites, & hallmarked Germany Sterling on the reverse. At its heart lies an engraved glass panel with a deep black background, depicting a flying fairy graceful, mysterious, almost weightless. What draws me to this piece is its quiet sense of magic. The fairy feels like a being between worlds, which is why I chose to combine her with shell & water ancient symbols of origin, depth, & memory. There is one very light sign of wear on the surface of the glass. That could easly be polished. Measurements: 4.5x3.3cm (without loop), Sterling Silver Germany, made in the 1920s.
