Silberwelle Halskette / Halsband Welle Silber This filigree necklace is a delicate & feminin piece, that is handmade using the ancient technique of filigree. The quality of the details & the transparency of the filigree present in this piece are only possible to get through handmade processes. Therefore, this necklace is the perfect accessory to mark an important date. Lately I have been working primarily in filigree & have adapted this traditional Portuguese art to contemporary designs. This necklace, as other pieces in my shop, is the result of this exercise. The filigree technique is an handmade process that makes every piece special. Each handmade filigree piece has a unique arrangement of filigree wires that gives rise to a piece that differs from all previously developed. The necklace is completely made using 925 silver & the finishes are in bright silver. The filigree technique makes the piece very light & comfortable. The dimensions of the pendant are 5,5 cm x 3,5 cm (2.2'' x 1.4''). The complete length of the necklace (when is open) is 49 cm (19.3''), but it can also be made with another chain length; just let me know, in the message to the buyer, in what size you want to use it. My suggestion is to wear it not too long, as it is very light. This piece has a bath which slows the natural oxidation of the silver. The piece will arrive in an paper box sealed with the store logo. Note: The piece is completely handmade in 925 silver. From the exterior structure to the filling of filigree, each detail of this piece is done manually. For this reason, each piece will have slight differences when compared to the one in the photos. The exterior structure & the composition of the interior silver net is unique in each piece.
