This is a handcrafted Red Cedar bentwood ring featuring a smooth polished surface finish. The ring on display is roughly 6mm wide with a flat interior. Each ring featuring any species of wood as its primary material or as an overlay is made using genuine wood veneer & a combination of traditional jewellery making techniques. The bentwood method involves wrapping a strip of wood veneer around itself or another material. This method not only increases durability to the ring, but is also a more sustainable technique which guarantees minimal material waste. Once the ring is formed, it is then sanded & polished for a gloss finish.
