✨ONE-OF-A-KIND ????Discover our collection of handmade silk kimonos! A relaxing day at home or the next party at the beach, these kimonos give you a wonderful look for every occasion. Our fashion is made by talented artists in India. Real unique pieces are created there with great attention to detail & the conscious use of recycled materials. Most kimonos come with a matching beach bag. You can see the bag in the photo gallery. ????We have short & long kimonos, please check which category each kimono is listed in. Measurements of the short kimonos: 39 inches (~100 cm) shoulder length Please refer to the pictures for arm length. For the exact measurements of a specific piece, feel free to message us. ????For reference: Our model from the product images is 169 cm tall & has slim hips. However, the kimonos also fit wonderfully with very wide hips. ????We use three different silk fabrics for the kimonos. The first option is a regular plain weave with no special features. However, some pieces are made of satin silk or georgette. We point this out explicitly in the title as these two types are very different. Satin: Slightly heavier than the other two types. It has a noble-looking sheen & feels very soft on the skin. The structure is extremely smooth. Georgette: Very light compared to the other two species. The fabric is a little see-through & has a slightly rougher structure without being itchy on the skin. ???? A little insight behind the scenes: in the heart of India, silk fabrics are bought by families who no longer have a use for them. They receive money for a substance that is useless to them. The silk is sorted & cleaned & then processed into kimonos & jumpsuits. Only the best fabrics are used. Thus, the signs of use are hardly noticeable. Through this process we help our planet & do our part to reduce waste. Our packaging is of course 99% recycled & contains almost no plastic at all. ❗The signs of use do not affect the durability of the fabric. These may be small scratches or weaving defects. However, you will most likely not even notice it & think it is new silk????
