The shape of the flame symbolizes the energy of creation, a evolving form in space. Balinese artists carved this masterpiece out of mother of pearl. Touching it by hands it feels overwhelming smooth, calming & elegant. It's one of my favorite. The material is shining in many colors, ranging from dominant pearly white to fine orange, green & violet hues. Carving & polishing has do be done under water, since the material is very hard & fragile at the same time. Its a gift of the goddess of the Ocean.
