Beschreibung:
All my Origami Earrings are carefully folded with "Chiyogami" or "Yuzen" Japanese handmade paper. Earring material options: - Stainless steel, gold colored - Stainless steel, 18K real gold plated (hypoallergenic) - 925 sterling silver (hypoallergenic) The earrings are coated with a water resistant resin which makes them sturdier & more durable. Even though this special fabric-like paper is highly resistant to water, it is recommended to keep the earrings out of the water. The pattern of the Chiyogami paper may differ from the article delivered later, because it is a part of the larger original paper sheet & each earring is folded individually by hand. "Chiyogami" is a specific Japanese word used to describe the graphic, repetitive designs applied to paper in the Edo period. Originally, these patterns were printed by wood-block for use in paper doll & small accessory making. in the twentieth century, these patterns began to be applied using silk screens & this continues today. Please note: Due to the different screen settings, there may always be slight color differences. I make every effort to display the item as faithfully as possible. Feel free to have a look at other designs in my shop. :) Japanese Koi Origami Earrings, 18K Gold Plated, Water Resistant, High Quality Chiyogami Paper, 925 Sterling Silver, Best Birthday Gift Idea
