All widths are etched deep enough to keep the Copper away from touching your finger & are lined with pure Titanium. A new super material! Super rare, super difficult to work with & super expensive. It's the case that the copper from the superconductor can react with your skin, if that's no problem for you, you can go for it as shown on the pictures. Otherwise I need to make an inner layer to prevent your skin from reacting :-) A deep etch can prevent the copper to react with your skin. Also when you order a ring, it may take some more time for me to make the ring, because it could be the case, that I first have to order the specific material for your very unique ring! But as usual: Please just get in contact with me & we will talk about it :-) Superconductor rings are made of superconducting material. Superconductors are metals or alloys that when cooled to very low temperatures (approaching zero kelvin) exhibit properties allowing electrical current to flow with zero resistance. This unique feature allows this material to be used in scientific experiments which help discover new elementary particles of matter, such as the famed "God Particle," also known as the Higgs Boson. The black regions are usually an alloy of titanium & niobium. The surrounding region (the red color) is copper. If you would like to prevent the development of the greenish oxidation, or patina, on your copper items, you can coat your items with mineral oil.
