A very nice vintage, handcrafted hinged trinket box with mother-of-pearl inlay. A small hexagonal wooden box, decorated with delicate mother-of-pearl inlay patterns. The interior of the box is lined with red velvet. Made using an elaborate handcrafted process. The box is typically of Middle Eastern origin. The lid opens & closes very easily thanks to the hinge. Suitable as a gift, ideal for storing jewelry. The box is in very good condition & dates from the 1980s.
