This antique 14k gold ring is set with natural pearls & garnet, displaying the refined craftsmanship characteristic of the Georgian era (approx. 1714-1837). The floral cluster design, with its delicate arrangement of seed pearls surrounding a central garnet, is typical for Georgian jewelry, which often emphasized natural motifs & intricate hand-worked gold details. The shank shows ornate, hand-carved scrollworkanother hallmark of the period, as Georgian pieces were entirely handmade & often asymmetrical upon close inspection. A historic repair done around 1900 using tin had previously altered the ring, but this non-authentic material has now been carefully removed, restoring the piece to its proper antique integrity. This correction highlights the ring's original craftsmanship & preserves its historical value.
