For more accurate sizing, measure your feet using the following method. YOU WILL NEED: 2 sheets of paper (or one double-sided) Ruler or straight edge Hardcover book or CD jewel case Pencil A friend to help you When measuring your feet, we recommend that you wear medium-weight socks. We also recommend that you measure both feet, and use the measurement of the larger foot in determining your size. STEP 1: Mark a point in the center of one of the short sides of the paper with a V. STEP 2: Place the paper on the floor, with the V touching a wall. STEP 3: Place one foot securely on the paper, with your longest toe (whether that’s the big toe or the second) gently touching the wall right above the X. Stand up straight, with your weight equally distributed between both feet. Adjust your foot if necessary so that your toe is not pressed against the wall, but is just barely touching it. STEP 4: Have your friend rest the book or CD case against your heel. Again, it should barely touch the heel, rather than being pressed against it. NOTE: Be sure to keep the straight edge perfectly vertical, and not slanting inward or outward from the foot. STEP 5: Carefully lift your heel so as not to move the book, giving your friend space to mark the appropriate length on the paper. STEP 6: Remove your foot from the paper, and draw a straight line between the line drawn at the heel and the V at the top of the page. Measure the length of the line. STEP 7: Repeat the process with the other foot. STEP 8: Using the larger of the two lengths, convert it to your shoe size using the size chart below: Shoe size = maximum foot length (cm) 35 = up to 22.4 36 = up to 23.0 37 = up to 23.7 38 = up to 24.4 39 = up to 25.1 40 = up to 25.8 41 = up to 26.4 42 = up to 27.2 43 = up to 27.8 44 = up to 28.5 45 = up to 29.1 46 = up to 29.7
