"Story Tellers" - Garments that tell stories of Mexico's Indigenous People Unique handmade crafts fashioned from the "Nahua" indigenous women of Mexico. Each beautifully inspired garment is a unique piece that tells the story of their cherished ancestors. "Huipil" or "Quechquemitl" (Cape) Crafted with two rectangular pieces of cotton sewed together. It is meant to go over the neck and softly rest on the shoulders. "Huipil" comes from the Nahuatl and means "baggy". This particular piece of clothing is used by many indigenous cultures in Mexico. Through various designs of colors and motifs emotions and beliefs are reflected. Color: black embroidered in white.
