This exquisite Biedermeier hair ring (c. 1820-1840) features two finely crafted blue enamel forget-me-not flowers on the front, which are perfectly preserved. The inner side of the gold shank shows signs of wear & dents, typical for a piece of this age, while the woven hair element remains in remarkable condition. No hallmark is visible, but the craftsmanship strongly suggests it is made of gold. Symbolism ????️????
