Antique Beaded Bag With Silver Frame & Chain

Antique beaded bag with silver frame & chain. Made in the UK in the first decade of the 20th century. The frame bears the assay mark for London; the year 1902, the tail end of the Arts & Crafts movement with its emphasis on craftsmanship as in the Middle Ages; the handle has a slightly Gothic look with its decoration of English roses & fleur de lys. The bag is 21 cm high, including frame, 19.5 cm wide, & the chain is 54 cm long. The lining is dark blue satin - not original, but perfect. Condition is perfect.
